Week 7: Important Digital Skills to Learn

Updated: May 13, 2020

In todays world we are interconnected through the digital means of technology. globalization has allowed us to cross transnational boundaries at a click of a button. Digital skills are becoming more and more critical to a company and their success due to Covid-19. There now is a greater dependence on digital skills than ever before. • Q&A: It is harder to ask questions about a certain task, as response times are not always immediate and may take up to 5 hours or a day. This delays your work. You need to make sure to be organized and have questions at the ready.

New Tools:

LMS/Articulate: Since the experience team has more time on their hands to improve current and past locations, we are taking the time to invest in more software. We recently invested in a program called LMS; where the software (Articulate) allows us to create training content for our employees.

Zoom: Now, physical meetings are replaced with virtual ones. This was a huge adjustment for me, but is very enlightening. It is amazing how we continue to stay so connected despite the uncertain times.
